GeoScience Career Day 2026 will be Monday, February 23rd, 2026 from 1:00โ5:00 p.m. in the Strong Hall Atrium
GeoScience Career Day is an opportunity for students and professionals to connect, discuss GeoScience Careers, and exchange information to help students plan their education and related experiences. GeoScience Career Day is open to all current and prospective EEPS students as well as professionals and companies who register in advance. For Students
You are invited to attend GeoScience Career Day 2026 on Monday, February 23rd, 2026, from 1:00โ5:00 p.m. in the Strong Hall Atrium. At the event, you will be able to connect with professionals from a variety of industries, discuss GeoScience Careers, and receive advice on your career plans. The event includes a tabling session from 1:00โ5:00 p.m. and a space industry discussion panel (4:00 p.m.).
Student registration will take place on Handshake

For Professionals
At the event, you will be able to connect with students from a variety of disciplines, discuss GeoScience Careers, and discuss your company. The event includes a tabling session from 1:00โ5:00 p.m. and a space industry discussion panel (4:00 p.m.). Please register your organization through Handshake.
The purpose of this event is to introduce traditional and non-traditional geoscience students to potential geoscience careers in your industry. This event will give our students and your company a chance to meet one another, establish professional relationships, and discuss potential job and/or internship opportunities. Representatives from your company will have an opportunity to engage with our students, guide the conversation, and answer their questions. This is a great opportunity to showcase your leading technologies and your core business units.
Please join us as we work to educate and inspire the potential future leaders in your industry.
Company registration will take place on Handshake
Handshake is an online career services platform that houses a job search engine, event portal, and profiles similar to LinkedIn. All students at UT have a Handshake account and it is what we recommend students use to search for jobs and internships. Therefore, we recommend that all organizations recruiting UT students utilize the resources Handshake provides.
